In reference to the previous article "Parker House Jumps the Shark", here is the actual clip from Happy Days that coined phrase. It basically means when a show has reached its critical mass and has gotten to the point where it is passe' or utterly ridiculous. I think 24 jumped it awhile ago and others think The Sopranos jumped it with Johnny Cakes.
